Coca Cola Zero x AVTR

It had been a while since I last posted here. Firstly, I do not shop as much as I want to and secondly I hardly go anywhere out of Tung Chung due to the complication of my work.

A few posts ago, I blogged about the limited edition Coca Cola Zero x Neighbourhood. This time around, they came up with their latest edition collaborating with James Cameron's upcoming mega movie, Avatar which will be opened in December 2009. I had bought a few cans myself and extending it to fellow Coke fans in Malaysia. I had sold bout 5 cans of the previous edition and for AVTR's edition, I have 4 cans to sell off.

Price remains the same at RM10/can. Do comment or PM me on facebook if you are interested. Check out the picture posted here.

And guys, something interesting coming up near my neighborhood, Japanese cult fashion brand, Bathing Ape is opening an outlet here in Citygate next month. It is surely gonna be a good Chinese New Year shopping for me before I am back in January 2010.

Until then, see ya peeps!

ESPRIT OUTLET @ Tung Chung, Hong Kong

Beautiful sunny Saturday here in Hong Kong. I was invited by my client to join the post mid-autumn buffet party @ HK International Airport World Trade Center tonight. Considering it is my first official invite to an event, I have no choice but to shop for my shirt as I only brought with me a few T-shirts for this trip.

Staying here in Tung Chung is a bless as the nearest mall is within walking distance and the best of all is that this particular mall housed all the factory outlets under one roof, the one & only in Hong Kong so for travelers to HKG, do not miss this mall. To get here is pretty simple, just take the MTR, no matter which line you are, just follow the route to connect to Tung Chung line (orange in color), stop at Tung Chung which is one stop away from Disneyland. Look for the "Citygate" signage.

OK back to my shopping experience, I will be in HKG for a bit, therefore I am very careful with my spending. Today I went to ESPRIT OUTLET which is located at the 2nd floor of Citygate. Bought a urban fit long sleeves shirt for less than RM100. There is no way you can get an ESPRIT long sleeves in Malaysia at this price.

I also went to COACH OUTLET to check out some of the bags & wallets requested by friends. Very unfortunately all the items requested are the latest collection and the outlet does not carry it, it only carries off season & common signature items. So Cynthia, Jasmine & Ooi, if you are reading this, my apology and I will reply to you people by email after this posting.

Just two shops away from COACH, it will be the POLO Ralph Lauren OUTLET. A friend asked me to check out the Polo Tee embedding number 6. Hey PY dear, this is also not available. What's available here will be the Polo Tee embedding number 2 & 3 with variety of front badge. The common Polo Tee with the small horse badge price ranges from HKD300 - HKD500.

That is all for now, do check out my travelogue on my final day in Northern Thailand here.

Cheers!

Coca Cola Zero x Neighbourhood

I have never seen this Coke Zero in Malaysia, we only see Coke Light most of the time. Do not ask me the difference between Zero & Light, all I know is both also cater for obese like me.

Ok, this is an interesting collaboration. Japanese brand Neighborhood has gotten together with Coca-Cola Zero. The outcome of the promotion is a special Neighborhood Coke Zero can, as well as some denim, a tote bag and a USB stick. The goods will be available in Hong Kong at Hoods.

So today I went to get my limited edition Coca Cola Zero x Neighbourhood can. It is still selling here whilst stock lasts. Avid Coke fans from Malaysia wanna get this? I am charging RM10/can, write me your details ya.

After my post yesterday, I received quite a few write-in from friends asking me to check out the prices, PY, Cynthia & Alan if you are reading this post, be patient ya, will revert those items' prices to you all soonest possible :)

Citygate Outlets, Hong Kong

Hellow peeps!

It's been a while since I last update my shopping blog. If you had been following my primary blog site, I had just finished my one week tour in Northern Thailand & now I am in Hong Kong. I will be here for a bit in view of a small project that I am handling over here. Weather here at the moment is cloudy & windy, and it will get colder as we nearing the end of the year.

I am staying in Tung Chung, Lantau Island. It is a bit far from the Central Hong Kong, Kowloon & New Territories and just a station away from Hong Kong Disneyland. However, there is a shopping gem in Tung Chung which only mainly frequented by the locals & residents around this area. Tung Chung housed the only factory outlets under one roof in Hong Kong (something like the Seattle Premium Outlets) where you can find a few major brands here selling its products at a crazy price. To be exact, the name of the mall is Citygate Outlets Tung Chung MTR Station.

This morning, while pimping for breakfast around the mall, I spotted a brand new factory outlet which was not up during my last trip last year. Ladies, I spotted COACH Factory Outlet, I went in and I totally got no idea how COACH products are priced in Malaysia, I have no idea whether it is cheaper or not here. But I saw a COACH signature sling bag which costs less than RM1k, I remember a female friend who used this sling bag and she told me she bought it above RM1k and it was in US. So for COACH fans out there, if you wish to check the price of the product here, do check out their website @ www.coach.com and give me more details so that I can check the price for you here, send your details to mikemmery@gmail.com

Besides COACH, there is also Polo Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Calvin Klein Jeans, GUESS, Timberland, Nike, Adidas, Puma outlets to name a few. I will put more updates here when I got hold of more photos of these outlets and at the same time do send in your requests for price checking.

Once I got hold of the price, I will reply via email and if price is agreeable and you need me to buy for you peeps, then I will advice you guys on how to transact the payment to me.

In meantime, follow me on Twitter as well as check out my travelogues @ MikeMmery.

Until then, see you peeps!

I love Hong Kong!

My Confirmed Itinerary

Can't believe that we are now in the last quarter of 2009. How time flies, and I wanna get over 2009 as overall it had not been a pleasant one except that I traveled more than before mainly in the South East Asia region.

So to share a bit of my traveling itinerary, it had been confirmed. I will be back to Melaka this weekend as my family will be traveling to Chiang Mai for the long Raya break and I am to be the guardian of my Melaka house for a week or so, so to those who wanna come over to Melaka for a short trip, you are always welcome ya, just drop me a mail or MSN.

On the 2nd October 2009 (Friday), I will be going to Chiang Mai. From there, I will be traveling on road on a 4 hours bus ride to Mae Sai. All by myself, self back-packing :) , will share the details once I am done with it ya. It is my 2nd time there. But this time around, will try my luck to enter into Burma or better known as Myanmar. We live once, I am all in for the risk :)

Will be in Mae Sai & Chiang Rai province for about a week before I fly to Bangkok on the 7th October 2009 (Wednesday) and subsequently back to KL. And on the 11th October 2009 (Sunday), I will be flying to Hong Kong. Anticipated for the trip and meeting Malaysian friends there, will be meeting up with a friend nicknamed Sexy (based in Macao), Josie (HKG) and 2 friends confirmed coming over to visit me - Deric & gf and Alan (both in November). I had also got my China Visa done up just in case.

Should be back in January 2010 - just in time for the Chinese New Year. So anything you guys wanna get here, email me, shop with me. So far, there are 3 ladies who requested me to buy stuff there :)

Happy shopping dude!

Introduction - Shop With Mike

Good day! I am known as MikeMmery in the blogosphere. I blogged here and here.

So what prompted me to start this blog? Friends around me know for the fact that I will be on a work-cum-tour to Hong Kong this coming October 2009. Hong Kong, best known as a shopping destination, many had requested me to purchase stuff from here and courier it back to them.

For easier access on the shopping list, I started this blog. Do not ask me how safe is it to shop with Mike. This is not another e-commerce site, created to make thousands out of it. It will be more of my experience overseas and at the same time I am to assist friends who wants to buy something here.

OK, here goes my itinerary. I will be off to Chiangmai on the 2nd October 2009. From Chiangmai, I will travel to Chiangrai and subsequently to Maesai & Myanmar if possible to complete my Thailand assignments here. I am not very sure if there is anything good to shop here, I do not even know how good will be the internet availability here as well but I will try my very best.

I will be away till 8th October 2009, then waiting for my next itinerary to Hong Kong on the 11th October 2009, I can stay here for up to 90 days here and am planning to spend my Christmas & New Year there. I will be staying @ Tung Chung, best known for the one and only OUTLETS gateway, meaning there are a few factory outlets here.

I will also be doing multiple entry visa to China just in case I need to travel there. Talking about 90 days, I might rot if staying at the same place most of the time.

So what am I doing there in Hong Kong? I am currently accepting a web development consultancy job, and am not under any employment or whatsoever. So if you yourself need a revamping on your website or your company's site, you know who to look for :)

For all shopping enquiries, please drop me a mail at mikemmery@gmail.com , like I mentioned before, this is a friendly site, someone who trust me and transactions can be done via maybank2u. All successful trade list will also be shared.

Shopping time!
